Day 291, Leaving for Ireland

After months of planning the day is finally here. The alarm was set for 4:20am and Allie and I were on the slhotel shuttle to the airport at 5am.



Flying to Dublin, Ireland

 The flight from Portland to New York's JFK was sold out. For some reason our seats were not together but luckily I was able to get us seated next to eachother and at a bulkhead.

We arrived in New York at 3:30pm and have a 6 hour layover. After the 5 and half hour flight we were both hungry so we went to dinner.

We now have two hours before we depart for Dublin. This will be a 6 and half hour flight and we will arrive Saturday morning at 8am.

This what you call a long day.
