I woke up to rain and overcast skies, which after yesterdays beautiful weather was quite a surprise. I didn't have much on my agenda other than going to Church, working in the yard and cleaning the house. Tuesday I will be having a Board retreat at my house so I need to start the cleaning process.
Following Church the weather wasn't as bad and I was able to cut down all the dieing flowers from summer. I have a ton of Shasta Daisy's that every year I have cut down to the ground. I also edge all the way around the pond and cut down the reeds around the edge.
The chickens were out from 1pm to dusk and they only laid one egg. I'm starting to think it might be time to fire up the barbeque.
