Day 464, Something to pull the Traveleze.

A 1949 Packard Deluxe Club Sedan.
I stopped off to look at the Traveleze after my workout and there wasn't a lot of work done on the body, but they had bought the propane tanks, which will now be powder coated and chromed. They had the sink refinished with new porcelain and the tail lights were purchased and being shipped.  Once their big project with the 47 Westwood is done they will be able to get to work on the Traveleze, which should be after Thanksgiving.

The back end of the Packard
In the mean time my hunt for the perfect tow car continues.  I have found a 1949 Packard Deluxe Club Sedan which might and it's located here in Oregon.  The current owner has had the car for 39 years and just had it repainted in Champagne Gold, which is close to the Anniversary Gold used on a handful of the 49 Packard's to celebrate their 50th Anniversary.
The original interior of the 49 Packard.

The car has a great shape which compliment the rounded shape of the Traveleze and I'm planning to go look at the car over the weekend.  My only hold back is that it's not a Super or Custom Packard, but still it is a nice car with all original interior.
