Day 396, Shopping in Guthrie, OK

Guthrie, Oklahoma
Robin and I were out the door by 9am and had plans to pick up Ann at 9:30am and then drive to Guthrie, OK just 30 miles North of OKC.

Guthrie is a very old city with a fantastic old restored downtown distric. We spent lost of the day there shopping and checking out the town. We even had authentic Oklahoma barbeque for lunch and I should not have had the onion rings, but they were just so good.

After Guthrie we headed back to OKC and hit a few antique stores on the way in. Ann and Robin had been a shopping machine and I had bought one small gift and Robins birthday gift, which I gave to her.

We dropped Ann off and then went to meet Robin's husband Brad for dinner. We had dinner at Gillardia Country Club. The food was excellent and the view spectacular.

Back home we kicked back and watched a movie. About half way through the movie Brad and I got hungry for ice cream so we paused the movie and ran to Brahms to get some.

It was a great older movie "A time to kill" and the ice cream was excellent. It's a good life!
