Day 399, Flying home

Labor Day was a nice lazy day morning.  We all got up at our own pace and stumbled out of bed about 7:45am.  For breakfast we scrambled up some of Ann's farm fresh chicken eggs and cooked up some pepper bacon.

Somewhere over Colorado
After breakfast we went for a walk around the neighborhood and worked off some of breakfast.  Robin and Brad lead such an amazingly busy life that they have a huge list of "honey do's" around the house and I'm always happy to help them out.  The gate to the back yard needed to have about an inch trimmed off the bottom, so I removed the pin from the hinges and took the gate off.  Surprisingly Robin and Brad do have tools and I was able to use a scroll saw to trim and inch off the bottom of the gate and then re-install it.

At 3pm it was time for me to get ready to head for the airport and fly home.  I had such a great time and was a bit sad to head home.  I could seriously move to Oklahoma because the people are so amazing.  The can do, pro-business attitude is refreshing.

Waiting in Salt Lake
I arrived at the airport about hour and half ahead of schedule which gave me plenty of time to switch my seat assignments to all exit rows and more leg room.  My flight to Salt Lake was smooth and I had two hours to kill before boarding my flight to Redmond.  I watched a James Bond movie Casino Royal on my iPhone and the time passed quickly.

I arrived in Redmond 20 minutes ahead of scheduled and I called my parents to come get me.  They were at my house and were just putting the chickens in for the night.

It was nice to be home.
