Day 123, Set up for the Hospice Tree Auction in Prineville

Thursday is the set up day for the Hospice Tree Auction in Prineville, which is part of the St. Charles health care system for Central Oregon.  The best part of my barbed wire cactus is that the set time is less than 5 minutes.  I litterly walk in and put the cactus in a clay pot, add some gravel to hold the base in place and then string some chilli peper lights.  Most of the other tree decorators spend hours decorating their trees.

This is largely a volunteer based event and it is a highlight of the Christmas season for the community of Prineville.  One of the draw backs to being a guy on set up day is that you get asked to lift and move numerous trees and large objects, but it's still a good time.

The Chickens have not been very happy and after getting two yesterday, there were no eggs today.
